Publish your first entry

Create, validate, and publish an entry with the required access.

Create an entry and publish it so delivery clients can read it.

Access

You need backend.read, content.read, content.create, content.update, and content.publish, scoped to the Backend and Content type. If a review workflow is enabled, an authorized reviewer must complete its required actions.

Create and publish the entry

1. Open Content, then choose a Content type.
2. Select New entry.
3. Fill the required fields and select Save.
4. If Review is enabled, move the entry through the configured stages and approvals.
5. Select Publish. Publication affects the whole entry, not one locale.
6. Reload the page and confirm the Published badge.

If someone saved a newer version first, reload, review that version, and reapply your changes. Do not publish until validation and review errors are resolved.
