Edit content in bulk
Publish, return to Draft, or archive several entries and review each result.
Use a Content type list to change several entries. Each selected item is processed independently.
Access
Publishing requires backend.read and content.publish. Returning Published content to Draft requires backend.read and content.unpublish; other Set draft or archive changes require backend.read and content.update. Adding to a Release requires release.update plus the applicable Publish or Unpublish content permission.
Run a bulk action
- Open one Content type and select the rows to change.
- In the floating action bar, choose Publish, Set draft, Archive, or Add to release when available.
- Wait for the requests to finish, then reload and check every selected row.
- Resolve each failed item’s validation, review, access, or Release conflict before retrying only that item.
All-content and Media bulk controls are not fully hidden by permission, so the server error may be the first indication that an action is not allowed. There is no bulk rollback.
