Tour the workspace
See each product area and how permissions affect navigation.
After choosing a Backend, use the six top-level areas to find your task.
| Area | What you can do |
|---|---|
| Content | Open All content, Recent, Scheduled, Releases, Calendar, or Inbox, and browse Content types. |
| Media | Open All assets, Images, Videos, Files, or an Asset type. |
| Content model | Work with Content types, Asset types, Components, and fields. |
| Taxonomy | Browse Vocabularies and Terms used to classify content. |
| Settings | Manage Backend details, access, integrations, and portability. Each item has its own permission. |
| API | Inspect delivery and generate SDK files. |
Access
Reading a Backend requires backend.read. Each area also checks its own permission and resource scope. A missing area can mean that access is missing; a missing type can also mean that the Backend has no matching model.
Sidebar visibility helps with navigation, but the server still checks every action.
