Schedule content
Schedule or cancel one publish action outside a Release.
Schedule a saved entry to publish once at a future time. The Admin app does not currently offer this control for assets.
Access
Creating or canceling the schedule requires backend.read and content.schedule with matching scope. When the job runs, publication also requires content.publish and the entry must still meet its review requirements.
Schedule the entry
- Save the entry and complete its required review.
- In entry details, select Schedule.
- Choose a future date and time, then select Confirm schedule.
- Confirm the Publishes … marker shows the intended time.
- To cancel, select the cancel icon beside that marker. After cancellation, choose a new time to create a replacement schedule.
An entry can have only one active scheduling owner. A Scheduled Release containing the entry blocks an individual schedule. The action is one-shot, not recurring.
Publication uses the normal checks at run time and can fail if access, validation, or review readiness has changed.
